Supporting education, research and business advisors to better serve their clients.
iCRA supports organisations that are part or supportive of agri-value chains. Over the past three decades, iCRA strengthened the capacity of many education, research and business advisory organizations to better engage with the realities of local value chains and serve their clients’ needs.
“I like my organisation to be more reflective and adaptive to the demands of the agribusiness sector, but need support to train and coach my staff on the right competences”
iCRA works closely with universities and vocational training centres to deliver the next generation of entrepreneurial and hands-on graduates. Together we build strong private sector relationships and co-create engaging and competency-based curricula that align with labour market needs.
Our services for knowledge and research institutes support the design of entrepreneurial, market-driven research programs. To develop the agricultural expertise, innovations and technologies demanded by agribusinesses; we support research coordinators and innovation facilitators through training in collaborative and facilitative leadership.
In addition, iCRA facilitates participatory capacity needs assessments and trainings for farmers’ organizations, agri-food SMEs and business advisory services. We support these agribusinesses to engage and function in effective partnerships with local value chain actors.
Our approach is based on participative and experiential learning methods and emphasises building trusted relationships among knowledge and business actors in and around the agricultural value chain. We offer different options for tailor-made trainings. These range from a single training event to a longer learning cycles trajectory.
