Education

We invest in people, curricula and building links with the private sector to make (agri) education contribute to youth employment & (local) economies.

Want to deliver the next generation of entrepreneurial and hands-on graduates?

iCRA believes that we can help young people to become the big change makers we need to feed this world, by transforming education. iCRA works closely with universities and vocational training centres from all over the world, to deliver the next generation of entrepreneurial and hands-on graduates. Together we build strong private sector relationships and co-create engaging and competency-based curricula that align with labour market needs.

Our services for knowledge institutes also support the design of entrepreneurial, market-driven research programs. To develop the agriculture expertise, innovations and skills demanded by agribusiness, we support lecturers and decision makers to build strong relations with the private sector.

Most of iCRA’s work with universities and vocational schools is carried out through projects and our ‘Making Education Work!’ course.

Participatory approach

Our training and learning approach is based on participative and experiential learning methods and emphasises building trusted relationships among knowledge and business actors in and around the agricultural value chain. We offer different options for tailor-made trainings. These range from a single training event to a longer learning cycles trajectory.

iCRA introduced ‘Blended Learning’

Blended learning allows us to combine the advantages of group learning and digital (on & offline) learning instruments in our courses. Read more about the advantages of blended learning in this blog: “5 reasons why Blended Learning is the future of professional education”
