Bourama Guindo
Meet Bourama
Bourama Guindo is an Agricultural and Rural Engineering specialist with a strong focus on food security. He works as Director of Studies in Sustainable Agriculture and Waste Management at Durable Solutions Group (DSG), a multidisciplinary consulting firm based in Bamako, with a regional office in Ségou. At DSG, he leads studies and projects on sustainable agriculture, agroecological transition, and organic waste management, with a focus on innovation, climate resilience, and community-level impact.
Bourama first connected with iCRA through the ReCaFoP Mali project (2019–2022) in Mopti and Gao, where iCRA supported the CFASPAM training center in Mopti to strengthen vocational training quality and youth employability. As a trainer at CFASPAM, he worked closely with iCRA and contributed to hands-on, practice-based learning approaches.
Today, the partnership between iCRA and DSG supports a shared goal: strengthening skills in Mali’s agri-food sector, building lasting partnerships, and promoting practical learning that helps create more inclusive and resilient food systems.
Bourama enjoys being in the field as much as reading, and he loves learning directly from rural communities—each conversation inspires new, more grounded solutions.
