Cristina Gheorghe
Meet Cristina
Financial records may not always take centre stage, but Cristina knows that ambitious projects cannot move forward without them.
At iCRA, she supports the financial and administrative side of DeSIRA-LIFT+. She makes sure records are accurate and complete and keeps communication clear and efficient between everyone involved. For Cristina, contributing to a project with significant goals in sustainable agriculture brings both joy and a genuine sense of being useful.
Her professional journey through finance and administration has also taken her to Belgium, where she completed a Blue Book traineeship at the European Commission and learned from experienced financial experts.
Cristina holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Romania and a master’s degree in economics and politics from Germany. Living and studying abroad helped shape her openness to different people, cultures, ideas and lifestyles, something she continues to bring to an international working environment.
Away from spreadsheets, Cristina enjoys music, reading, sports, travelling and spending time with the people she loves, ideally over a good cup of coffee. Cooking often begins online: ‘I often watch multiple recipe videos and then I go directly to the kitchen to try them!’
